Nayanthara and her filmmaker-husband Vignesh Shivan surprised some impoverished ladies and children with gifts to make their new year special. On social media, a video of the pair giving out gifts by the side of the road has surfaced. Some followers have praised the gesture. However, some people didn't like the fact that the event was captured on camera and shared on social media.
With the assistance of their staff, Nayanthara and Vignesh are seen in the video distributing gift bags to a few kids and women.
Recently, Nayanthara appeared in the Tamil horror film Connect. Last week, the Hindi-dubbed version of the movie was released.
Director Ashwin Saravanan is responsible for Connect. The movie, a Covid-19 lockdown horror-thriller, stars Nayanthara as a mother who must look after her daughter. Vinay Rai and Anupam Kher also have significant parts in the movie. Nayanthara and Vignesh recently made their first public appearance since becoming parents. The couple welcomed their boys in October 2022.
In a recent tweet, Vignesh reflected on how great the year 2022 had been for him, from marrying Nayanthara to becoming a father to twin sons. He wrote in the tweet, "Getting blessed with two boys who just make me tear up every time I see them, every time I go near them... the tears from my eyes touch them before my lips could: ) Twoooo blessed I feel always, Thank God (sic)." Additionally, he expressed gratitude to his audience for supporting Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. He stated that he is preparing for the premiere of his next movie, AK 62.
Vignesh Shivn and Nayanthara wed in a private ceremony in Chennai on June 9 of the previous year. Their families as well as a few close friends from the film business, such as Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, and Vijay, attended the wedding. Vignesh Shivn announced the surrogate birth of twin sons on Instagram four months after their wedding. Uyir and Ulagam are their names.
