Nani is one of this generation's self-made actors in the Telugu film industry who went from rags to riches. He now also has a tag called Natural Star and he is a bankable hero a producer can blindly put money on. Nani celebrates his 36th birthday today and lets us have a look back into his career.
Nani first wanted to become a director. He assisted director Bapu for the film Radha Gopalam. He later worked for other films like Allari Bullodu, Dhee, and Astram. Nani later turned as a radio jockey upon the suggestion of Nandini Reddy. It was then director Mohana Krishna Indraganti noticed Nani in an advertisement and offered him the lead role in Ashta Chamma. Thus, Nani made his film debut.
Ashta Chamma was a blockbuster and since then, Nani started climbing each step. He got his second blockbuster three years after his debut, with the film Ala...Modalaindi. He continued the success with Eega. But after that, Nani faced flops for two more years. Finally, he bounced back with the 2015 film Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. After that, there was no looking back for him. He scored consecutive hits like Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Gentleman, Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, MCA, and Jersey.
Now, Nani has turned into a villain and is coming up with the film V, which will hit the screens on March 25. On this flip side, his production venture Hit, starring Vishwak Sen, is releasing this Friday. We wish him a happy birthday and hope he comes up with many more successful films in the future.
