Dr. Daggubati Ramanaidu secured a special place in the history of Telugu Cinema. Fondly called as Movie Mughal, he was one of the iconic film producers in the country. He had produced more than 150 films in 13 different languages. This record still remains unbroken. Today is the 84th birth anniversary of this legendary producer. On this occasion, his son and popular actor Daggubati Venkatesh shared an old picture and thanked him for all the memories.
In the photo, we can see both Venkatesh and Ramanaidu going all smiles while having a discussion. The Gharshana actor captioned the photo as, "Thank you for all the memories nanna, your presence will always be missed."
Both Venkatesh and his elder brother Suresh babu shared a good bonding with Rama Naidu. While Suresh Babu stuck to production, Venkatesh landed in the acting profession. Many of his films got produced by Ramanaidu.
Currently, Venkatesh is acting in the film Narappa. It is an official remake of the 2019 Tamil action-drama Asuran. Narappa is being directed by Sreekanth Addala. Suresh Babu is bankrolling the film under their home banner Suresh Productions. Earlier, the makers have thought of releasing the film in May. But that didn't happen due to the lockdown. The team will resume shooting once the lockdown gets over. There are a few scenes which are yet to get filmed. The makers will announce the release date once they get done with the shooting. Priyamani is playing the female lead in this film.
