Applause Entertainment approves a crime narrative inspired by author Anirudhya Mitra's newly released book. Titled "Ninety Days: The True Story of the Hunt for Rajiv Gandhi's Assassin. It is " published by HarperCollins Publishers India Private Limited. It focuses on the event of real of this terrible incident.
The content studio has now secured the rights to Anirudhya Mitra's novel. Besides recently announcing an impressive slate that includes Tanaav, Gandhi, and Scam 2003. Anirudhya, a former journalist, became the first to publish on the case and broke several unique stories. It happened while the search for the assassins was ongoing. The series will provide a detailed description of how the CBI's Special Investigation Team uncovered the murderous scheme. It also describes how they located the murderers, and pursued the brain to his last hiding place. The project is being directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. He is a renowned filmmaker and National Award, winner. He previously partnered with Applause Entertainment for "City of Dreams". It was a big success.
