Naga Chaitanya On The Recent Box Office Challenges Of The Akkineni Family: Highs And Lows Are Very Normal In This Career

Actor Naga Chaitanya discussed a downturn in his family's film production that has lasted for approximately a year. He is getting ready for the release of his soon-to-be-released bilingual Telugu-Tamil movie Custody. Even though the Akkineni family works hard to provide quality content, Chaitanya claimed that some films don't have the desired effect.

Chaitanya was questioned about how the Akkineni family had let fans down with poor content over the previous year during a pre-release media event. It is important to note that The Ghost (2022), Akhil's most recent picture, and Thank You (2022), Naga Chaitanya's final release, all fell miserable at the box office. Chaitanya said, “We always strive to give good films to fans. For all their support and unconditional love, all we could give in return is good cinema. Last few releases didn’t work as we expected. Highs and lows are very normal in this career. All of us have to travel through those highs and lows. That time will pass soon and we will be back for sure”. He continued by saying that he has every confidence that Custody will deliver the kind of outcome that viewers have been looking for. Many people commented in the comments section that Chaitanya handled the question with great maturity. One commenter said, “His maturity level is on point (sic).” Another one wrote: “This is the kind of maturity all stars should have (sic).” Chaitanya portrays a police constable in the Venkat Prabhu movie. He recently spent some time in Hyderabad speaking with some police constables about experiences of becoming a cop. Chaitanya expressed his enthusiasm for taking on the role of a policeman when asked about playing such a role. He said, “It is a role that has not been explored much in recent times. Constables are fresh out of training and they have the fire in them to make a change. The future is in their hands.” Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Sampath Raj, and Arvind Swami all have significant roles in the movie, which is set for release on May 12.
