Naga Chaitanya is reportedly upset with director Parasuram. Rumours have been circulating for almost a year that the two would collaborate on a film, but no official announcement was made. Reports suggest that the Thank You actor asked for script changes. This has led to the movie's cancellation.
In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya said that talking about Parasuram was a waste of time. He said, "It's a waste of time to talk about director Parasuram. He wasted my time. I don't even like to talk about this topic."
Before Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata, rumours were already circulating about Parasuram teaming up with Naga Chaitanya. However, he halted the movie with Chay for unknown reasons and instead started to work on Mahesh Babu's film. After the latter became a blockbuster hit, rumours suggested that he was back to working on Naga Chaitanya's film and even registered a title for it. However, no official confirmation has been made.
Parasuram has been accused before of accepting advance payments from top productions and not completing the film. Producer Allu Aravind also accused him of accepting money but not working on the sequel to his blockbuster film Geetha Govindam.
Parasuram made his debut with the film Yuvatha in 2008. He went on to direct other films such as Anjaneyulu, Solo, and Srirastu Subhamastu. He delivered a blockbuster hit in 2018 with Geetha Govindam. The movie starred Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. It was followed by Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Mahesh Babu.
