The theaters across India are under shut down for the last two months. There are no signs of them reopening for the next few months. If after the reopening, there might be many social distancing restrictions on the movie viewers. Going by all the permutations and combinations, one thing is for sure. The theater business is going to witness considerable losses in the future as well. People are making many calculations on how the theater business can get saved. Mahanati director Nag Ashwin questioned whether it will be a good idea to sell alcohol at the theaters to revive the business.
Once In a talk with suresh babu garu and rana, it came up what if theaters get license to serve beer/breezer/wine, like in other countries..could it increase footfalls...could it save the theater business (which does need saving)...wat do you think? Good idea, bad idea?

So true...it will keep the family audience away...can be an option at few multiplexes maybe, but not a solution...wat do u think theaters need to do to get ppl back? to increase audience...will you come back as soon as theaters open or wait & watch for a few weeks before going?
