Pisasu 2, directed by Mysskin, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 31. The director is preparing for its release. He has been enlisted to play a significant role in the movie "Maaveeran" in the meantime. The movie is directed by Madonne Ashwin. It stars Aditi Shankar and Sivakarthikeyan in the prominent roles. Maaveeran is a bilingual Tamil and Telugu movie. In a recent interview, actor and director Mysskin reportedly discussed the part he plays in the movie. Mysskin told the media outlet that he finds the script for the movie "Maaveeran" to be intriguing. Mysskin liked the script. He said he plays the antagonist in the film. The character is a politician as per reports. In the interview, Mysskin allegedly praised Sivakarthikeyan. He said that the actor is very modest and undoubtedly going to become a great celebrity in Indian cinema.

 
Bharath Sankar is the composer of Maaveeran's music. The film will have a number of cameo appearances as per reports. Vijay Sethupathi was also a part of the movie as per earlier rumours.
 
Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand is promoting his diwali release, Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Prince'. It is directed by Anudeep. Prince is receiving mixed reviews. Sivakarthikeyan has recently confirmed a collaboration with Rajkumar Periyasamy for a film provisionally named 'SK 21.' It will also be a multilingual drama.
