On Mother's day on Sunday Deepika Padukone shared a never seen before picture of herself from her childhood. The picture informed her fans that she was always a natural-born athlete. The photo seems to be from her school days. She is posing with a couple of trophies and certificates and is smiling a big smile. She also explained that the picture was from a "championship cup for primary seniors,". In which she participated in various events such as relay race and long jump. Through this throwback picture, Deepika thanked her mother for always being at her side and wished her a happy mother's day.
In the Instagram post, she wrote, "For your unconditional love, for always putting our priorities before your own, for holding us together...every step of the way! And last but not the least, for showing us how to be ridiculously meticulous! (as shown in exhibit B). We love you. Happy Mother's Day."
