Money Heist is one of the shows whose fan following is far stretched. As soon as its third season dropped on the app, people instantly got hooked to their screens to watch the show. But did you know that one of the characters in the show called Berlin was actually removed from the show because people demanded it? Yes, you read it right. The creator and writer of the show Alex Pina makes this shocking revelation in the show's documentary. The name of the documentary is Money Heist: The Phenomenal. "Someone said to me that this character is out of date and doesn't fit with the current times. You should take him out of the show."

“I said I had no intention of taking him out of the series. He’s a misogynist, narcissist, and psychopath in many ways,” he added. Alex said that he actually believed in having a flawed character in the show but the audience should decide whether it should be in there or not. “But we could have a character like that in the series and the audience could freely decide whose side they’re on, right?” he added. In fact, Alex believes that the character of Berlin was one of the reasons why people started watching the show in the first place and got hooked. “If television is bland it’s boring because fewer things happen. The audience wants things to happen, and there’s nothing better than a villain who we can empathise with, ” he said

In one of the sequences of the show, the police shoot Berlin and this is how the character of Pedro Alonso (original actor) ended.
