Mohanlal's L2 Empuraan: Major Updates Given By Prithviraj Sukumaran And Murali Gopy

The well-known actor-director team of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran will reunite for the follow-up to their famous film Lucifer. Due to the pandemic, the eagerly awaited project, known as L2 Empuraan, which was initially planned to open its doors in 2020, was delayed significantly. However, the Lucifer sequel is now scheduled to begin filming soon, and pre-production work is moving quite quickly.

Recently, the movie's director Prithviraj Sukumaran and writer Murali Gopy released an exciting update on their respective social media accounts. The writing-directing team acknowledged that Mohanlal's upcoming film is in its last stages of pre-production and project design. A crucial page from the eagerly anticipated project's script, describing the L2 Empuraan title card, was revealed by Prithviraj. The actor-director captioned his post,

On the other hand, author Murali Gopy posted a black-and-white still from Lucifer on his Facebook page along with the message: Mohanlal and filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran have worked together three times, the latest being L2 Empuraan. For the first time in their professional lives, the superstar and the actor-director collaborated on Lucifer, which continues to be the Malayalam film industry's highest-grossing movie of all time. The trilogy-formatted production, which Prithviraj Sukumaran made his directorial debut with, was released in 2019. The actor-director team collaborated once more for the OTT hit Bro Daddy, which was made available on Disney Plus Hotstar during the shutdown.
