Mohanlal Jeethu Joseph's upcoming film12th Man is almost near its release date. The trailer and teaser of the movie were enthusiastically received by the fans. A further promotion video of the film has now been released. The promo shows Unni Mukundan putting a bullet into his gun. “Is it him? Wait for the mystery to unravel;” makers captioned the video.
The film will have its release on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie will be released on May 20.
The shooting of the film, which belongs to the mystery thriller category, started in October last year. 12th Man is Jeethu Joseph's first Mohanlal film without his script. Newcomer K.R. Krishnakumar writes the screenplay for 12th Man.
Unni Mukundan, Anushree, Aditi Ravi, Leona Lishoi, Veena Nandakumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Shanthi Priya, Priyanka Nair, and Sivada will play other important roles in the 12th Man. Satish Kurup is the cinematographer. The main location of the film was Kulamavu in Idukki.
Meanwhile, a handful of films are in the pipeline for Mohanlal. Shaji Kailas directed Alone and Vaishakh's Monster is Mohanlal's upcoming films.
Arattu was Mohanlal's last theatrical release. The film was a comedy-action entertainer starring Mohanlal after a hiatus. Following the theatrical release, the film was released OTT via Amazon Prime Video.
