Mohanlal announced six films of the production company Janata Motion Pictures. Janatha Pictures is a joint venture of screenwriters Suresh Babu and Unni Ravindran. The announcement of the films was held today evening at a private hotel in Kochi.
Suresh Babu is directing two of Janata Pictures' upcoming six films. Suresh Babu has also written these films. One of the films is called Manohar and Janaki. It will be a film with a complete cast of new faces. The film has been announced with the title poster. The name of the second film directed by Suresh Babu is Aryabada. Shane Nigam is the hero.
The third film comes with the interesting name of Start Action Savitri. Navya Nair plays the titular character and is directed by Ratheesh K Rajan. The other three films are being directed by Bhadran, along with two notable directors of the new generation. Those directors are Tinu Pappachan and Tarun Murthy. But it is not clear who will play the central character in these three films. The actors and other technical personnel will be announced as soon as the script is completed.
It's already reported that Malayalam star Mohanlal will also team up with filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery for his upcoming film. The film is now titled Malaikottai Valiban. Earlier, some reports had suggested that the upcoming film will be a period drama that tells the story of a wrestler. However, there is no confirmation yet.
