In a recent interview, actor Minissha Lamba discussed the Me Too movement. The actor referred to Sajid Khan as a "creature" when discussing the revolution taking place in India and elsewhere in the world. In the wake of several allegations of sexual harassment made by women, Sajid made his first broadcast appearance on Bigg Boss season 14.
With Shoojit Sircar's Yahaan, Minissha made her acting debut in 2005. Later, she made appearances in movies like Bheja Fry 2, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Kidnap, and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. Minissha participated in Season 8 of the reality competition Bigg Boss.
A recent interview with Minissha answered questions on the current Bigg Boss season, Sajid Khan, and the Me Too movement. She said, “The Me Too movement is and has been so important in changing the conversation around the world about women. It was just a revolution that was on the brink that was waiting to happen. It just needed that one boiling point. That one catastrophe to change the world and that is what revolutions are all about. Regarding the creature (Sajid Khan) you are talking about, the less about the person the better.”
Sajid Khan has left Bigg Boss 16 on his own will. Sajid joined his hands and stated, "Jo jo mere kisi se bhi jhagde ho, haath jodke mafi mangta hu. Lekin aap logo ka bahut support raha (I fold my hands to apologise to all those I fought with. But you people supported me a lot),” during his final address. But a lot of you people helped me. In order to complete the filming for his upcoming movie 100 %, he voluntarily left the project.
Minissha covered her career in the same interview. She claimed she first intended to work as a journalist. But later 'organically' found herself in movies because of "wonderful opportunities." “I did not have the kind of guidance which I needed at that time. I did everything on my own and when I look back, I am wiser. Definitely, if I had to do it again, I would have done certain things differently,” she added. Minissha has been away from films for quite some years.
