This is one of the biggies in Chiranjeevi's career which became a big hit. Kondaveeti Donga is one film that took Chiranjeevi's stardom to a new level altogether.

It has been 30 years since the release of the film and 'Kondaveeti Donga' is still considered as one of the memorable classic hit films in megastar's career. Chiranjeevi played the role of Robinhood like a character in the film who fights the evil. The film showcased Chiranjeevi in a different kind of role and the movie collected 7.4 million rupees in the opening weekend itself.
Ilayaraja composed tunes for this movie which also became a musical hit. Most of the songs became chartbusters. Especially, Subhalekha Rasukunna is still one of the most listened songs on YouTube. Also, megastar's style and dance in Chamaku Chamaku became one of the major plus points in the film.
