Meera Jasmine is one of the favorite heroines of the Malayalam audience. Meera made his film debut with Sutradharan and won a National Award for her role in 'Paadam Onnu Oru Vilapam'.
Now, after a long hiatus, Meera Jasmine is back to the silver screen. The actor is back in front of the audience with her new movie directed by Sathyan Anthikkad.
Jayaram will play the male lead in the film. Siddique, Innocent and KPAC Lalitha. Sreenivasan and Devika also play important roles in the film.
Sathyan Anthikkad shares in a note on Facebook that he is very happy with the return of actress Meera.
"MeeraJasmine appeared before the cameras again on Vijayadashami day. The whole set is an indescribable joy. How many memories. 'Kanmani' who came as a boy in ‘Rasathanthram’. 'Achu' who subdued his mother with love. Meera is Juliet here. Also with Jayaram, Devika, Innocent, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha, and Srinivasan. We are ready to bring them to the audience through the theaters in Kerala;” wrote Sathyan.
This will become Meera Jasmine’s fifth film with Sathyan Anthikkad. However, Meera clarified that this film should not be compared to the Sathyan Anthikkad films she has done before. Meera Jasmine has played many notable roles in Malayalam cinema. Meera has taken a break from acting since the release of the 2016 film ‘Pathu Kalpanakal’.
Meera has also completed films like ‘Mazhathullikal’ and ‘Ithinumappuram’.
