Mammootty gave the gift as a surprise and said that Asif Ali had asked if he would buy a Rolex watch. It was unexpected for Asif Ali. When the presenter requested that he say something, Asif Ali was only expressing his happiness by leaving the stage. Earlier, Mammootty had said that the audience recognised Asif Ali, who acted only with his eyes, as a great actor.
The film is produced by Mammootty's production venture, Mammootty Kampany. This is the first film to be released by Mammootty Kampany. In addition to Mammootty, Sanju Shivram, Sharafuddin, Jagadish, Grace Antony, Bindu Panicker, Kottayam Naseer, Babu Annoor, Mani Shornur, and others appeared in the film, while Asif Ali was a guest star. The dark thriller film was brought to theatres by Dulquer's company, Wayfarer Films. It was in Kochi and Dubai. The shooting of the film has been completed.
