Mallika Dua's Mother Padmavati Dies Of Covid-19

Standup comedian and actress Mallika Dua's Mother Dr. Padmavati Dua passed away after a long battle with Covid-19. Padmavati was diagnosed with Covid-19 last month and got admitted to Gurgaon's Medanta Hospital on May 14. Her husband and journalist Vinod Dua was admitted to the same hospital. Mallika took to Instagram Stories to share the news about her mom's death. She wrote, "She left us last night. My whole heart. My whole life. The only god I know. My Amma I'm sorry I couldn't save you. You fought so hard my mama. My precious. My heart. You're my whole life (sic)."

Actress and politician Bina Kak took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Dr. Padmvati Dua. She shared a photo of Padmavati aka Chinna Dua and wrote,

Our dear Chinna ,Chinna Dua succumbed to covid,this evening ..Brilliant Dr , blogger , compassionate person who with her vit brought cheer to people,s faces will be missed .You left too soon ..You suffered a lot now RIP my friend .. pic.twitter.com/Y6FOBkUeGU

Chinna Dua's last post on Instagram was about her health. She wrote,
