Malayalam Director Priyadarshan heads Indian Panorma jury at IFFI 2019

During the press interaction, director Priyadarshan who heads the Indian Panorama jury revealed that the section is for the Indian filmmakers who wants their movies an exposure.

Amidst several events and screenings, the IFFI2019 introduced the jury of the Indian Panorama section at the 50th edition today. The Jury of Indian Panorama which is the flagship section of the prestigious film festival met the press and answered a lot of questions about the film selection parameters, process and more.

 
Indian Panorama Feature Film Jury head is South director Priyadarshan. Secretary, I&B, Shri. Amit Khare, CEO of ESG, Shri. welcomed him and also the acclaimed Indian Film Director Rahul Rawail during the Indian Panorama Opening at that took place at Inox, Panaji.
 
During the press interaction, jury member Harish Bhimani said, "By the end of the judging process, the theatre seemed like a cage as we were there for 10+ hrs every day. But fatigue never set in as we took the efforts to try & understand the concept of each film and enjoyed doing so."
 
Also, the jury head Priyadarshini told that the section came into existence for the Indian filmmakers. "Indian Panorama section designed for filmmakers who want to make something experimental and deserve the exposure, which includes most from Regional Films only as Commercial films get enough exposure already," he said.
