Actor Bala, who is well-known for his supporting roles in Malayalam movies, was admitted to the hospital in Kochi last month due to an illness affecting his liver. He recently underwent a successful liver transplant procedure, and for the first time, he shared a photo with his wife Elizabeth. Fans are eager to see him return to the big screen.
Bala posted a photo from the hospital on Facebook to share with his wife. He was observed smiling while having bandages on his body. Without adding a caption, he just shared the picture.
Several followers immediately showered the comment area with love and support after he uploaded the post. One said, "Praying for you". Another person added, “Get well soon prayers God bless you both stay blessed”. "Get well and come back soon, Bala," someone replied.
Bala is the brother of famed Tamil director Siva. In March, he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He was told to get a liver transplant after his health got worse. Bala received visits from members of the Malayalam film industry while he was hospitalized, including Unni Mukundan, Badusha, and Vinusha Mohan. They inquired about his health.
Bala's health update has previously been disclosed by producer NM Badusha. “Unni Mukundan, me, Vishnu Mohan, Swaraj, and Vipin came to Amrita Hospital today and visited actor Bala. Bala has spoken to everyone. There are no other issues currently. The doctor will inform me with more details later”, he wrote in Malayalam.
The actor's most recent appearance was in Shefeekkinte Santhosham, a Malayalam movie. Bala played the role of Ameer in the movie, which was released last year. It had a strong starring role for Unni Mukundan and was written by Anup Pandalam.
With numerous ambitious projects in the works, Bala, who has also appeared in a few Tamil films, hopes to make a strong return to the Malayalam film industry. Bilal, Sthalam, and My Dear Machans are just a few of the actor's future movies.
