Malaika Arora has praised her actor boyfriend Arjun Kapoor's latest film, Kuttey. The multi-starrer hits theatres today after a special showing for friends and family. Malaika rushed to Instagram Stories on Thursday night to compliment the flick.
Sharing the Kuttey poster featuring Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora wrote, “What a cracker of a film. And fab performances (heart emoticon) Watch in a cinema near you.” She also added the ‘let's go to the movies’ sticker with the post.
Reacting to the post, Arjun called Malaika his biggest cheerleader.
Aasman Bhardwaj, Vishal Bhardwaj's son, makes his directorial debut with Kuttey. Arjun, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sensharma, Naseeruddin Shah, and Shardul Bhardwaj star in it.
In Kuttey, Arjun portrays a cop. Following the release of the trailer, he stated posted a statement. He said, "It is really encouraging to see that people, media and the industry has loved the trailer of Kuttey. And is excited to see me in this film. I have realized that people want to see me push myself to deliver a credible performance. It happened with me in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and I can see the same love coming back to me again with the Kuttey trailer."
He added, "Whatever people have seen is only a glimpse of what my character does in the film or what really happens in Kuttey. If they have got hooked onto our film, it's all that we wanted to do with this trailer. Now, hope people will love what I have done in the film. I'm eager to see the response when the film releases."
Malaika also made a comeback last year with her reality show, Moving In With Malaika. It featured candid chats about her life with friends and family members such as Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Amrita Arora.
Arjun and Malaika's romance is still going strong. They recently celebrated New Year's Eve on vacation with Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal, as well as a few others.
