The release of Vamshi Paidipally's next Tamil and Telugu bilingual film "Varisu," which stars Vijay, is imminent. The film is scheduled to open in theatres on January 12, 2023, and is Pongal. Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Shaam, Srikanth, Khushbu, Meena, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish, and Samyuktha all play significant roles in the film.
On November 29, the filmmakers unveiled a new poster for the movie, featuring Vijay perched on a car holding a tea glass. Audiences have embraced the new poster because it makes them think of a specific scene from Vijay's previous film, "There," which was directed by Atlee. Additionally, the new poster says that the film will be released in 2023 during Pongal.
S Thaman wrote the soundtrack for the film, and the first single, "Ranjithame," has amassed millions of views online. The second single, allegedly sung by Simbu, is anticipated to be published in the second week of December. According to reports, the movie's audio and trailer launches would take place on Christmas Eve in Chennai. The producers have yet to disclose the release date for the movie's motion poster, teaser, and trailer.
Producer Dil Raju recently announced that the movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi in January 2023.
