Simbu is enjoying the success of his film 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.' The film has earned more than Rs 70 crore and is one of Kollywood's biggest hits this year. The actor will soon begin work on his next production, 'Corona Kumar.'
Simbu is expected to collaborate with filmmaker Sudha Kongara on the project KGF is producing. Following the success of 'KGF 2,' the film's producers said early this year that they are working with director Sudha Kongara on a movie based on true events.
The latest speculation is that, in addition to Simbu, Keerthy Suresh would be cast as the film's female lead. Simbu and Keerthy Suresh have long been rumoured to be working together for 'Maanaadu,' but due to other commitments at the time, the actress did not sign up for last year's Kollywood hit.
However, the filmmakers have made no public announcement about the project. Simbu is currently shooting for the Pathu Thala film alongside Gowtham Karthik.
