Lokesh Kanagaraj celebrates with top K'wood directors

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is just three films old in Kollywood yet he has already found a massive fan following among the audience. He made his debut with Maanagaram, which became a superhit venture. Now, Maanagaram is being made in Hindi with Vikrant Massey and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. His second film titled Kaithi starring Karthi took on Vijay's Bigil movie at the box office and emerged with flying colours. His two successful films landed him a baggie as he got the opportunity to direct Thalapathy Vijay, one of the top actors in Kollywood now.

His third film Master with Thalapathy Vijay yet again proved his mettle. The film released on January 13 and is still running successfully in selected theatres. He celebrated his birthday on March 14. What surprised us how Ktown directors came together for a surprise. Top directors including Mani Ratnam, Shankar, Gautham Menon, Lingusamy, Sasi and Vasanthabalan organised a cake cutting session. Lokesh shared the pics from the event and wrote, "By far the best birthday ever!!! Thank you soo much for this sirs (sic)."
