On September 15, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj participated in a gathering for assistant directors in Chennai and apparently discussed his forthcoming film, "Thalapathy 67."
The director stated during the meeting that the makers will update the movie in one to two months. He reportedly said, "I can't share any information about the movie until the production company issues an official update," pleading with the audience to wait for a few more weeks. The fans have cheered at the director's oblique confirmation of the film's impending announcement. The last scenes of the film are apparently being scripted by the director right now.
In terms of his professional life, Vijay is currently filming "Varisu," his 66th movie. Vamshi Paidipally is the film's director, and it is a bilingual production in Tamil and Telugu. The cast of the film, which also stars Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish, and Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, is now in Hyderabad for filming. S Thaman wrote the movie's soundtrack. Three first-look movie posters have already been made available by the filmmakers, and because the movie is most likely going to be released for Pongal 2023, it is anticipated that the teaser would be presented in December.
