Lakshmi Manchu and Rakul Preet chat about life under the lockdown

Lakshmi Manchu has been live streaming with several personalities.She went live with one of her best friends Rakul Preet today. Lakshmi started her live stream by saying 'Happy Monday' and went on to invite Rakul Preet to a live stream. Rakul Preet and her brother are stuck in Mumbai during the lockdown. Lakshmi revealed that she was to visit Mumbai right before the lockdown! Lakshmi also received some things about Rakul that are unknown to most.

 

Lakshmi Manchu asked Rakul what she learned about yourself during the lockdown? To which Rakul spoke of how she is grateful for what she has. She says that we should appreciate and acknowledge our own privileges.

 

Lakshmi Manchu and Rakul had a quite soothing and friendly chat about a lot of issues and topics.The best friends also spoke of what the quarantine has taught them, self-motivation, fitness, work schedules, the shows they've been watching, Rakul’s golf career and the film industry. Rakul Preet also spoke how she’s grateful for what she has and she likes to appreciate life as it comes everyday. They also spoke of the heroine’s role in a commercial film. Rakul says it is always better when there is a balance between masala and a role for female characters. Lakshmi spoke of what the world might look like after the lockdown is lifted. Shespoke what she’s heard from people she has been interviewing. Lakshi and Rakul say that being human is what matters right now.

 

On the work front, Rakul Preet was last seen in the film Shimla Mirchi. The romantic drama starred actors Rajkummar Rao and Hema Malini. She will appear in a number of films in the coming years. She will appear in the Tamil films Ayalaan and Indian 2. Ayalaan is a science fiction that also stars actors Ayush Narayan, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar in the lead roles. Indian 2 is the sequel to Kamal Hassan’s hit 1996 film Indian. She will also appear in the Bollywood films Attack, Chale Chalo and Thank God. She will also appear in an untitled Telugu film directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. Lakshmi was last seen hosting the TV series Maharani. She is yet to announce her next venture.
