Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, the country is in the state of a lockdown. For that reason, even the entertainment industry has postponed all its upcoming projects to later dates. Even Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey will release on a later date than what was decided. In an interview with a leading daily, Kriti Sanon gets talking about her role in the film. She also revealed how Akshay is inspired by the film.
"Now I can safely say that it is a very, very exciting role. It’s also something I haven’t done before, and for a while. Even Akshay sir has got a very kickass role. You can see the poster. I say he is in beast mode in the poster. My character is obviously very away from that. But it is a great combination, and I am very excited because it got everything in it. There’s comedy, there’s action, there’s a lot of interesting drama happening. It’s a full package film, I would say.”
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, Bachchan Pandey also stars Bobby Deol and Riteish Deshmukh. The film is an official remake of the 2014 south Indian film Veeram.
In order to do their bit in the current time of crisis, Akshay Kumar earlier pledged to contribute to the PM Care fund. He took to his social media handle to announce the details he tweeted, “This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai".
