It has been more than two months since the coronavirus started hitting the world harder. Due to this pandemic, most of the countries have got locked down. Everyone got confined to their homes and not coming out. The true warriors of this battle are the healthcare workers. They are risking their lives to save others. Saluting all of them, popular footwear brand Bata decided to donate one million pairs of shoes to health care workers. Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon welcomed this decision and appreciated Bata for their kind gesture.
Kriti took on Instagram to thank Bata for their efforts. She wrote, "While most of us are safe at home, there are millions of healthcare workers fighting day and night to make this world a safer place. Thank you @bata.india for recognizing the efforts of these real-life heroes and paying them your respect with this superb initiative!"
Kriti is also doing her bit in helping people during these tough times. Meanwhile, the actress is currently under the home quarantine and is spending time with her parents and sister. She is managing to keep her fans and followers entertained by sharing her lockdown diaries and throwback pictures.
On the professional front, Kriti was last seen in the movie Panipat, directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. Arjun Kapoor played the lead role in it. Currently, Kriti is acting in Mimi, which is being directed by Laxman Utekar. This film is initially slated for a release in June but now, it may get postponed due to the ongoing lockdown.
