Kriti Sanon as Lady Lead in Shashanka Ghosh's Point Blank remake
Kriti Sanon's growth from movie to movie is evident, as she is making the right choice of films to prove her metal. With Bareilly Ki Barfi she received needed breakthrough and bought many accolades for her. Now she is acting opposite Karthi Aryan in the film Luka Chuppi.
As per the latest news Shashank Ghosh of Veere Di Wedding fame to direct a film which is a remake of French cult movie Point Blank in which Kriti Sanon to play the lady lead role. Azure Entertainment to finance this project and as per the insider, this movie will hit shooting floors at the end of this year. Apart from Kriti Sanon no other actor is finalized. As of now, Shashanka is busy in the script work, making efforts to adapt as per our native taste. Also, the casting process is going on simultaneously.
French film Point Blank which was released in 2010 is touted to be action entertainer directed by Fred Cavayé. This movie is about a man’s journey to save his wife who will be chased by dirty cops and killers. Cast includes Gilles Lellouche, Roschdy Zem, Gérard Lanvin, and Elena Anaya. Shashanka's Veere Di Wedding performed decently at the box office. Ghosh coming up with the remake of Point Blank looks pretty fascinating and also looks like it will be a different film for Kriti Sanon in her career.
