Game of Thrones is perhaps one of the greatest TV shows ever made. However, the show isn't without its flaws. The entirety of Season 8 was full of mistakes like leaving the Starbucks cup to the controversial ending. The fans got shocked and not in a good way this time.
The last episode of the beloved show saw Lot Harrington's character Jon Snow killing his queen Danaerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke. Dany has stabbed as she hugs Jon. Many fans did not expect such a gruesome ending for their beloved queen.
However, in the recently released Blu-ray/Dvd version of the show, we can hear Kit Harrington talking about that final scene. Harrington in his part of the cast commentary said, "He doesn't know he's going to betray her until right at the end," adding, "In Jon's head, it's a number of [reasons: Dany] doesn't factor in anyone else's decisions and it also means [Dany] is going to kill my sisters, so it becomes [my] family vs. her."
This sort of explains the loyal Snow's betrayal at the end but it's perhaps too little too late for the show's loyal fans.
