Kichcha Sudeep begins shooting for Phantom amid coronavirus scare in Hyderabad!

Both the Karnataka and the Telangana governments allowed film shoots to begin with a set of precautionary rules and norms last month with the relaxation of the lockdown. Kichcha Sudeep’s Phantom is one of the first films to kick start shooting after that! Sudeep shared a few photos from the pooja held to inaugurate the film shoot. Sudeep says that the production team is adhering to all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He adds that he is quite happy to see high spirits! We already knew that the team wanted to shoot major portions of the film on the sets erected at the Annapurna Studios. Sudeep confirmed that the cast and crew are in Hyderabad!

Each available person is taking every necessary step to remain safe. Hoping for everything to sail through smoothly. Best wshs,” Sudeep wrote along with the photos from the pooja. Kichcha Sudeep also commented on how the team strength is minimal. He also added that all the crew members are from the Kannada Film Industry. “Also happy tat though its a minimized crowd we were allowed to have acc to the govt rules tats been laid,, Every member on set, may it be Technical,Unit,Production,Art etc are from KFI. Intention was to provide work to as many members as we could from the family of KFI,” tweeted Sudeep. Phantom was to kick-start shooting on 1st July. However, the team had to postpone the shoot due to some unfavorable climatic conditions. Anup Bhandari of Rangitaranga fame is directing the film. The film is jointly produced by Jack Manju and his wife Shalini Manjunath. Nirup Bhandari will also feature in the film.
