No one can dispute that with the premiere of KGF Chapter 2, Rocky Bhai Yash has managed to resurrect the cinema's long-forgotten enchantment. Produced on a budget of ₹100 crores (US$13 million), K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the most expensive Kannada film ever made. The film has completed its theatrical run after smashing multiple box office records, and it is currently the first ever film to score 90+ on Movie Power Ratings in all five languages (Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam). Furthermore, the film is one of the Most Popular Indian Films of 2022, having an IMDB rating of 8.5.
The film grossed Rs. 430 crores in the Hindi version alone, making it the most successful Hindi film of all time after Baahubali: The Conclusion. K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time and the second highest-grossing film in India with Rs 1250 crores gross. A sequel is in development. The picture was released in 6,000 theatres in India and 8000 screens globally
On April 14, 2022, KGF Chapter 2 was released in cinemas. Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty had significant parts in the multilingual film. Prashanth Neel wrote the script and directed the film.
