Keerthy Suresh has been very choosy about picking up her films after scoring a massive success with Mahanati. One of her much anticipated upcoming films is Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Directed by Priyadarshan, this historical drama features Mohanlal in the lead role. The brand new poster of Keerthy from the film got unveiled earlier today.
Keerthy plays the role of Aarcha in this movie. Her first look got revealed about a month ago in which she sported the getup of a village belle. In this new poster, Keerthy sported a regal avatar. She looked dignified wearing a saree. Going by these two contrasting looks, it seems like Keerthy has played a versatile role in the movie. Anyways, we have to wait until the release to know more about her character in this movie. She is betting high that the film becomes a big hit. The actress did not have big hits in Malayalam and she hopes to make it big with this one.
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham features Manju Warrier, Suneil Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Prabhu, Siddique, Suhasini Maniratnam, Nedumudi Venu, Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the other important roles. It is a film based on the battle exploits of Kunjali Marakkar IV of Zamorin of Calicut. The film is currently in the final stages of its pre-production.
