Sanal Kumar Sasidharan wrote on Facebook that the shooting of the film was mentally easy but physically difficult. The film’s shooting was in and around the Himalayas.

We had to trek to the unpredictable peaks of the Himalayas in the unexpected rain and heavy snowfall, which can be dangerous at times. We shot rain, rainbows and snowfall at a stretch.” The director wrote on Facebook.
Sanal further added that the crew was brave enough to shoot in such extreme circumstances. “Not even at the verge of the life-threatening danger and fear we ever thought to run away. After the heavy snowfall, we decided to trek down;” he added.
He shared an interesting shot which they could not capture. “Earlier we had a plan to shoot the blue lake near Shia goru and our cameraman @chandruselvaraj was so excited about that. He was the most disappointed one when we packed up. But it was impossible to shoot then because the blue lake was filled with a white show at least two feet thick. Now when I look back at it, everything seems to me like a fairy tale;” he concluded his post.

It was like a flow coming towards us and we just needed to be there and record it. In a way, we were prepared to admire that flow by choosing the most humble gears to capture. It was in August 2019 in the Himalayas. Two years have gone and the butterfly is still sleeping inside the cocoon!”
