Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's success has Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan on a high as he prepares for his upcoming film, Shehzada. He is prepared to make a huge bow in 2023. The pair of him and Kriti Sanon makes a comeback on screen following their 2019 movie Luka Chuppi. The actor visited the Rajat Sharma show Aap Ki Adalat set as the promotions were in full swing, where he spoke about his success in Bollywood and a quote from Salman Khan about making history.
Kartik Aaryan was questioned during an hour-long chat regarding the secret to his movies' box office success. The actor recounted what Salman Khan told him at a party once. He said, “I can say what Salman Khan once told me, whom I normally meet at parties. He told me, ‘When your film becomes a hit when others succeed, it’s not a great thing (maza nahi aata), but when all other films flop and yours become a hit, then history is created. I asked Salman Sir, is this a compliment, or are you scaring me? Instead of replying, he hugged me".
Kartik added, “Salman sir ‘hamesha chidhaate rahte hain’ (always pokes fun at me), but I am secretive. I will not reveal the secret why my films become hits. Here’s an actor who is talented, does his roles well, can dance well, and can do good comedy and action, where can you find such an all-rounder? How can a film flop, when you have a mixture of all these?”
Kartik Aaryan has a diverse slate of films in the works, including Shehzada, for the upcoming year, making his work life exciting. Along with others, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Manisha Koirala make up the film's ensemble star cast. It is a remake of the 2020 hit entertainer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred Allu Arjun.
In Satyaprem Ki Katha, the actor reteams with Kiara Advani, his co-star from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He also has the upcoming Kabir Khan film and Aashiqui 3.
