Karthi Will Sport A New Look For His Movie With Raju Murugan

Karthi and Raju Murugan are working together on the movie Japan. The movie is expected to start production this year. The proposal for the movie was discussed two years ago. Pre-production work is already well along, according to SR Prabhu, one of the producers. Yesterday's pujai served as the project's official launch by the team. Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead. Tollywood star Sunil will join the cast alongside Vijay Milton in a significant role. “We will be starting shoot in Tuticorin in about a week’s time. This schedule will go on for about three weeks,” said Prabhu.

“Raju Murugan is known for turning stories of unique characters into stories. In Japan, too, he has chosen a new setting. We are experimenting with the storytelling format, and are actually quite anxious about how this will turn out. For this film, Karthi will undergo a complete makeover physically; he’s also worked on the character quite a lot,” Anu and Sunil will join the team in the next schedule. GV Prakash is composing music for the film. Ravi Varman will be handling the cinematography.
