Karthi thanks brother Suriya at Sulthan movie press meet

Karthi is basking in the success of Sulthan, which hit the theatres on April 2. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film marked Rashmika Mandanna's debut in Tamil. The film received a positive response from majority of the audience and is going strong at the box office. Since the film is performing exceptionally well at the box office, Karthi and the Sulthan team organised a press meet to thank the team and everyone who are responsible for the film's successful run. Karthi also thanked his brother Suriya, who gave him the much needed advice.

He said, "Anna keeps telling me that our hardwork for one particular film needn't always materialize and work out immediately. It's like a savings bank account which will definitely benefit us later one day. I felt really happy when audiences were clapping for me & Gada (who is just 25yrs old) in the climax of #Sulthan. It's the MGR, Rajini sir style formula. I'm very happy seeing theater owners & their staff being happy with the response!." Karthi also thanked Yuvan Shankar Raj for working on the background music in a short span of time.
