Director PS Mithran has joined hands with actor Karthi for a film titled Sardar, which will begin tomorrow.

Karthi and PS Mithran's film titled Sardar

Actor Karthi is basking in the success of his recently released film Sulthan. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, Sulthan hit the theatres on April 2 and rocked the box office in Tamil Nadu. Karthi has been overwhelmed with the reception for the film and thanked the audience and critics for supporting the film. Now, Karthi has moved on to his upcoming film. For his next film, Karthi has joined hands with director PS Mithran of Hero and Irumbu Thirai fame. In a surprise announcement, Karthi and director PS Mithran unveiled the first-look poster of the film. Karthi will be seen in a never seen before avatar in the film.

Unveiling the first look poster, Karthi wrote, "Excited to be joining hands with @Psmithran on this biggie. Revealing the first look for you all. Lots of love! (sic)." Karthi also had some nice words of appreciation for director PS Mithran. The Sulthan actor wrote, "Always liked what @Psmithran tries to tell through his films and I am highly excited with this one... #Sardar shoot begins tomorrow! (sic)." The film's shooting will begin tomorrow.
