Karthi About Kaithi 2: The Film Will Begin Next Year After Thalapathy 67
Karthi-Lokesh gave a sensational hit through Kaithi in 2019 and both of them went on their own successful ways with their next films. But Kaithi 2 is the most anticipated film of Kollywood till date.
Following the critical and commercial success of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kamal Haasan-starring action film "Vikram," fans of the young director are now eagerly anticipating "Kaithi 2," the follow-up to the action thriller with Karthi that was released for Diwali in 2019. In spite of Karthi's announcement that he will work with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on "Kaithi 2" when the movie was released, both the actor and the director went on to their subsequent ventures.
Now that Lokesh Kanagaraj has started scripting his movie starring Thalapathy Vijay, Karthi has stated that "Kaithi 2" is under planning. Even though we are still awaiting an official announcement on Vijay's upcoming film, it appears that Karthi has also revealed that Thalapathy 67 will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Karthi is certain that production on Kaithi 2 will begin by the end of the next year. In the movie "Kaithi," Harish Uthaman plays Adaikalam, who is imprisoned, and identifies Karthi's character Dilli as Dilli. It is very likely that "Kaithi 2" will focus on Dilli's life before entering prison and the relationship between Dilli and Adaikalam.
Karthi played Kabbadi when he was imprisoned, according to filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, and it has been theorized that the sequel may focus on how he got there and what occurred there.
