Karnan actress Rajisha Vijayan pairs opposite Suriya

Suriya was last seen in director Sudha Kongara Prasad's Soorarai Pottru, which released directly on Amazon Prime Video last year. Today, he is one of the most versatile actors in the country. Suriya is presently waiting for the release of Mani Ratnam's anthology, Navarasa, which will stream on Netflix. Suriya plays the lead role in Gautham Menon's portion in Navarasa. Recently Suriya recovered from Covid-19 and resumed the shooting of his upcoming film with director Pandiraj. Sun Pictures, the production house of Suriya 40, shared a BTS (behind the scene) photo of Suriya recently.

Apart from shooting for Pandiraj's film, he has also been shooting for his upcoming film with director TJ Gananvel. Reportedly, he is playing an extended cameo role in the film, which is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Now reports suggest that Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan, who made her debut with Karnan, has been roped in to play Suriya's pair in the film. Suriya will be seen playing the role of a lawyer who fights for the rights of tribals. Actor and writer Manikandan will play the lead role in the film.
