Kareena Kapoor Khan Responds To Criticism Of Laal Singh Chaddha, Saying That Good Films Will Surpass Anything

Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, is presently preparing for release, and fans couldn't be more thrilled for the movie to enter theatres. But some groups have also called for a boycott. Kareena has added her voice to Aamir's on social media in reaction to the boycott controversy.

In an interview with India Today, Kareena stated, "Of course, since accessibility is there today. Everyone has a voice. There are several platforms. Everybody has a viewpoint. Therefore, if that is going to be the case, you must learn to ignore some things. Otherwise, living your life will just become impossible. I don't take any of this seriously because of that. I only share what I want to share".

"I'm like, 'It's a film, it's going to be out, and everyone will have an opinion.'" That's it, then. If the movie is good, I think the audience reaction will be positive and it will exceed every circumstances. Good films, in my opinion, will surpass anything, Kareena said.

Aamir previously addressed the subject during a news conference, saying, "That boycott Bollywood, boycott Aamir Khan, boycott Laal Singh Chaddha. I feel sad. I feel sad because a lot of people who are saying this in their hearts believe I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts they believe that, but that’s quite untrue. I really love the country. That’s how I am. It is rather unfortunate if some people feel that way. I want to assure everyone that it’s not the case so please don’t boycott my films. Please watch my films.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni feature in Laal Singh Chaddha, which is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios. It is an authorized Forrest Gump remake. The movie will be released on August 11th.
