We know that Kannada hit movie 'Bell Bottom' is now getting remade in Tamil. Sathya Siva is helming this project. As per the latest reports, Krishna and Mahima Nambiar are now going to play a crucial role in the film. With KGF: Chapter 1 doing well all over the country, there is a huge demand now for other Kannada films as well. A lot of films are getting remade in other languages. After Kabadadhari, Bell Bottom goes to Tamil now.
"I found the film really gripping. So, I decided to remake it in Tamil. The entire movie will have a 1980s backdrop and a different concept. I decided to cast Krishna to reprise Rishab Shetty's role in the original version as they look similar and Krishna looks like a detective. Mahima is going to play the female lead in this movie. She got a powerful role as she plays someone who involves in selling illegal liquor in the film. Saravanan, Shivamani are also playing crucial roles in this movie," said director Sathya Siva. The makers have already wrapped up the shooting of the film.
The post-production works are currently going on. He said that he had worked with Krishna twice and it made sense to cast him again for this film as he knows about Krishna's acting capabilities.
The film unit plans to release the details of the cast, crew and release date of the movie in the coming days. Let us hope that the film becomes a big hit in Tamil too, like in Kannada.
