Bollywood starlet Kangana Ranaut is best known for her female-oriented films like Queen, Manikarnika and Simran. Her latest film Panga, which released yesterday is also having a good run at the box office. Currently, Kangana is shooting for Jayalalitha's biopic Thalaivi. Meanwhile, she has announced her next project as well.
Kangana will be playing the role of an Air Force Pilot in the film Tejas. This movie is being directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwala. Currently, the pre-production works are going on and Kangana will start shooting for this film as soon as she wraps up the works of Thalaivi.
The actress is quite elated on signing this film as it is her dream to play a soldier role. Kangana will undergo intense training before starting the shoot for this film. She said that the director is roping in a few specialist trainers on board for her training.
Kangana termed herself as a 'born fighter at heart' and added that Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman is her inspiration to take up this role. Apparently, Kangana followed the entire story of Abhinandan Varthaman and has been a fan of him ever since. She thanked Ronnie and Sarvesh for giving her such a script that celebrates the heroism of our soldiers.
