Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut came to the scene last night by revealing that she wants to contest in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Kangana is an actress who has taken a pro-BJP stand on many issues in the country in recent times. The wish was expressed in a programme held on the Aaj Tak channel. She intends to run from the Himachal Pradesh constituency of Mandi. Kangana said that she will contest if the people want it and the BJP gives her ticket.
But now, BJP National President JP Nadda has come to the scene with a response. The BJP National President responded in a programme on Ajtak Channel. Responding to a question, JP Nadda said that Bollywood actress Kangana is welcome in the BJP but the decision about contesting the elections will be taken after consultation.
Yesterday, Kangana hinted that she would soon enter politics. Kangana replied that she has an open approach to all sections of the people when asked if she would enter politics. It would be great if the people of Himachal Pradesh gave him a chance to serve them.
Kangana said that she would work for their betterment. Kangana also praised Prime Minister Modi. Kangana said that Modi is the great man of the country and in 2024, Modi and Rahul Gandhi will compete. She also clarified that whoever contests will not be Modi's opponent.
Kangana's upcoming movie is Emergency. The actor is playing the role of Indira Gandhi. Her film also stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman. The film Tejas is also being prepared for the line-up.
