According to recent reports, Kangana wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Secretariat recently. She requested permission for her production team to film some scenes for her movie Emergency inside the Parliament. She denied rumours that the parliament had granted her permission via her social media account. The news has gone viral on the internet.
The Queen actress shared an Instagram photo to her story on Tuesday. It stated, “First time ever a movie is allowed to shoot in parliament, a small segment of the Emergency movie will shoot soon in parliament”. Ranaut replied, "That's not true it's fake news," in response to the same.
For the uninitiated, Kangana reportedly wrote a letter. She is reported asking for permission to make the movie Emergency inside the Parliament buildings. The report went on that generally, private entities are not given permission to film or record any kind of photography inside the Parliament premises. However, this is not always the case for official or government work. The state-run television networks were the only ones permitted to film shows or events within the Parliament. It was Doordarshan and Sansad TV.
The movie Emergency will star Kangana Ranaut. She will also be the film's producer and director. She will portray the late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhry will all play significant roles in the movie. Ranaut is currently in Mumbai. She is filming the final section of the picture.
