On November 6, it was officially revealed that Kamal Haasan would be collaborating with Mani Ratnam on his forthcoming project. Mani Ratnam will helm the film, provisionally titled 'KH 234,' which will star Kamal in the lead role. The duo will be joining hands again after a gap of 35 years; they last worked together for ‘Nayagan’.
Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and Udhayanidhi Stalin will co-produce the film 'KH 234.' Udhayanidhi Stalin allegedly indicated in a recent media interview that work on the film would not begin until next year. He stated that the project would begin construction in August or September 2023. He also allegedly mentioned that the story is still being worked on and that just the plot with three lines has been determined.
On the job front, Udhayanidhi Stalin is anticipating the release of his films Maamanan,' 'Magizh Thirumeni,' and 'Kalaga Thalaivan,' while Mani Ratnam is working on 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
Kamal Haasan is now filming 'Indian 2' with director Shankar, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
