Actor Kamal Haasan is one such professional who goes all out to get into the skin of the character. Time and again we have seen the legendary actor playing versatile roles. The latest update is that Kamal, who is currently shooting for the much-awaited Indian 2 (Bharateeyudu 2) has suffered an allergy on the sets of the film directed by Shankar at Rajahmundry.
The team has recently filmed crucial sequences at the Central Jail and a little birdie informed us that Kamal has developed rashes on his face while applying make-up for the Senapathy's role during the shoot. As a result, the shooting of Indian 2 was halted for a day until he recovered completely. This delay has forced the makers to request the female lead Rakul Preet Singh's call sheet for two days.
"The team has planned to shoot a sequence in Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet among others combination. But, the make-up he applied for the old man's character has shown some allergic reaction which left him uncomfortable at the shoot. He has taken a day to get back to normalcy and completed the shoot," says a source.
Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Aishwarya Rajesh and Siddharth in other roles. The film is a sequel to Kamal Haasan and Shankar's blockbuster hit Indian and the sequel is expected to release in summer, 2020.
