A day before Kamal Haasan's birthday, the Ulaganayakan used social media to share a significant announcement regarding his upcoming film. 35 years after the pair first worked together on their biggest hit, Nayagan, he revealed his upcoming collaboration with Mani Ratnam. This time, as the Tamil superstar turned a year older, Suhasini, his niece, and Mani Ratnam's wife had a birthday celebration at her home with her family.
Suhasini Maniratnam, better known as actress Suhasini, is the daughter of actor Charu Haasan, who is also the brother of Kamal Haasan. On the occasion of Kamal's birthday, the well-known actress posted several pictures on Instagram showing him visiting and enjoying time with his family. While Shruti and Akshara Haasan, Kamal's daughters, were absent from the celebrations, Suhasini's cousin and actress Anu Haasan, who is the daughter of Chandra Haasan, the third Haasan brother, also attended.
Suhasini added, "Celebrating Kamal at home???????" while revealing these peeks of various pleasant moments from the family gathering.
However, the actress also posted another image from the family gathering with the caption, "Great men coming together," that was dedicated to Kamal Haasan and her husband Mani Ratnam.
Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies announced their upcoming collaboration, KH 234, which is scheduled to hit theatres in 2024. Kamal will play the lead in the Mani Ratnam-written and -directed film KH 234. AR Rahman will compose the soundtrack for the film.
On the other side, after Vikram's success, Kamal Haasan has started up again on the S Shankar-directed film Indian 2. Rakul Preet Singh and Kajal Aggarwal also play significant parts in the movie.
