Jr NTR And Ram Charan's RRR Not Postponed, Will Release On January 7

Director SS Rajamouli is back after the legendary Baahubali series. . Three years after Baahubali, his upcoming mega-budget film RRR is all set to hit the theatres on January 7, 2022. The period film features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. RRR will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. According to reports, RRR will release on over 6000 screens. As the team is busy with promotions in multiple cities, it has been rumored that RRR might get postponed once again. Due to a surge in Omicron cases, many states have imposed night curfews and are contemplating lockdown.

In a press meet, producer DVV Danayya shared clarity regarding RRR being postponed. He said, "There is no change in the release date. There are many rumors that we might not release the film on the planned date. They are false, RRR is releasing on time.” RRR is being produced on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore. If reports are believed to be true, RRR might cross Rs 100 crore at the box office on its opening day. Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, RRR will feature Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran, and Samuthirakani in important roles.
