Jasmine Bhasin Reveals About The Death And Rape Threats She Received Post Bigg Boss

After competing in Bigg Boss Season 14, actor Jasmin Bhasin, who had roles in Tashan-e-Ishq and Dil Se Dil Tak, became an instant celebrity. Although the reality TV series made her famous and paved the way for her future career, it also made her the target of persistent trolling and bullying on social media.

Bhasin admits that she had numerous threats after the show. Apart from trolling, when she left the Bigg Boss house, she received nasty insults. Death and rape threats were also made.

Her mental and emotional health suffered as a result, and it wasn't until she talked to a medical professional that she was able to learn how to deal with it. "What I faced was very serious," she reflects. She eventually felt the mental effects of everything. But thanks to medical assistance, her loving friends, and family, she was able to recover from the trauma.

Bhasin says she has learned to ignore hateful remarks from trolls and automated accounts by choosing to see the positive aspects of her line of work. She said, "I’m in a place today where I receive a lot of love and many perks. Trolling is a very small part of it. I choose to ignore it. If people love me, I’ll return that love. If they hate me, that’s their choice. They can express themselves all they want but I’ll ignore them because I don’t need to know about it. I’m anyway very busy in life."

Following her time on Bigg Boss 14, Bhasin was contacted by a plethora of music companies, and in a remarkable achievement, she went on to star in nine music videos last year. Yaaron Sab Dua Karo and Iss Baarish Mein are two of the four music videos she has already sang in 2022. As of right now, she can be seen alongside her boyfriend, actor Aly Goni, in the music video Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi, which debuts today and recreates the famous song by the late composer RD Burman.
